Frank's Custom Pens - 30 Cal Gunmetal with Honduran Rosewood Pen

About this item

Frank’s Custom Pens: 30 Caliber Bolt Action Pen in Honduran Rosewood with Gunmetal

A handmade bolt action pen turned from Honduran rosewood by Frank, a pen maker from St. Charles County, Missouri. Inspired by a classic bolt action rifle, this 30 caliber pen works just like the real thing: slide the bolt to extend the tip and slide it back to retract it. The rifle-shaped pocket clip finishes the look and makes it clear this is no ordinary pen.

Honduran rosewood is a dense, highly prized hardwood known for its rich reddish brown to purple tones and dark grain lines, and it is the wood of choice for fine marimba bars thanks to its tone and density. Paired with gunmetal hardware, it has the look and feel of a well-kept rifle stock and receiver.

It takes standard Parker style refills, so finding a replacement is easy and you can choose the ink and point size you prefer.
