Frank's Custom Pens - 30 Cal Gunmetal with African Blackwood Pen

About this item

Frank’s Custom Pens: 30 Caliber Bolt Action Pen in African Blackwood with Gunmetal

A handmade bolt action pen turned from African blackwood by Frank, a pen maker from St. Charles County, Missouri. Built in the style of a classic bolt action rifle, this 30 caliber pen operates with a working bolt: push it forward to extend the tip and pull it back to retract. A rifle-shaped pocket clip rounds out the design and keeps it secure in your pocket.

African blackwood is one of the densest woods on earth, with a dark, nearly black color and fine grain that gives this pen a solid, weighty feel. Matched with gunmetal hardware, the result is a dark, tactical look that feels as rugged as it appears.

It takes standard Parker style refills, so finding a replacement is easy and you can choose the ink and point size you prefer.
